We’ll be wrapping things up in both locations by 11pm, but please check out website all the way up to the event for updates, ‘cause things change!

Anything you want! AS LONG as it isn’t one of the prohibited items listed in the Virgin Festival terms & conditions, which can be accessed via the menu on the left.

What are the playing times?
Keen aren’t you! Playing times are finalized much closer to the event after all the bands have drawn straws (joke!). Of course these things are always subject to change, so our website the best source.

Please contact our merchandise team at justin@bigconcerts.co.za f you have anything that you believe is worth selling at the festival (boyfriends not accepted).
Will Richard Branson be there?
Richard has a very demanding international schedule, and we’re not sure that he will be able to make it to South Africa in December. If he can, he certainly will!
Why isn’t the festival coming to Durban?
Virgin Festival is a logistical challenge and we have had to fit all the events into just two weekends. Unfortunately this year, Durban had to miss out. We have however convinced both Maroon 5 and One Republic to perform at the ICC on Sunday 14th December. Tickets available through the usual Computicket channels.
Are any Virgin Festival acts coming to other parts of SA?
It’s too early to confirm anything at the moment (other than Maroon 5 and One Republics agreeing to play in Durban on the 14th December 2008), but register on our website for updates and we’ll let you know what final plans are.

Is cash available on site?
Generally we have some ATM facilities available at the event, however there’s a lot of people, we’re in the middle of a field in many cases, and therefore you shouldn’t bank (excuse the pun) on this as your solution to running low on cash! Best to think about what you may need to buy, and fill the wallet to suit.
Are there Passouts?
No – we don’t actively allow pass-outs from the event. Once you come in, you are in. If however you have a serious issue or reason to query this policy, always approach security staff for assistance.
