Road to V - win a place for your band at the Virgin Festival!
October 5th, 2008 | Published in Road to V | 4 CommentThe Road to V is the search to find unsigned music acts in South Africa and give them a change to win a place on the Virgin Festival stage! You will be rocking it with the likes of Snoop Dogg, One Republic, Eddy Grant, Goldfish, Sugababes just to name a few!
Richard Branson, whos legendary Virgin Festival heritage is the inspiration behind the Road to V. If you are a local South African band, you can register and upload your tracks on http://www.virginmobile.co.za. Music lovers will be able to review and vote for their favourite bands and from the entries, 12 bands will be chosen to go through to the finals and perform live across the country.
If that wasn’t exciting enough, all these regional performances will be broadcasted on MTV Base in the 5 weeks leading up to the Virgin Festival.

The Virgin Festival is the world’s leading international music festival that is coming to South Africa in December! There will be 18 bands playing 12 hours of music to 60 000 fans in Cape Town and Jozi!

I want to register the band Roots of Youth for the road to V competition. Two of their members would turn 16 in March 09.The band was formed in 2002 and will be a strong contestant
